An attached holder needs clearance
A desk clamp such as VIVO’s MOUNT-CUP1 is designed around an attachment point. Check the exact desk edge and underside, cup dimensions and nearby mic mounts. Multiple clamps can compete for the same space; a workable microphone mount does not establish that a drink clamp also fits.
A separate table creates a drink area
A stable side table can move the drink away from sensitive controls. Check it from the seated position and leave space to stand up without knocking it. A separate surface is especially useful when the whole desktop is occupied by working equipment.
A freestanding base travels between spots
Steadi adds a wider resting footprint without installation when suitable surface space already exists. It is not a microphone accessory or sound-isolation product. Choose it for the resting setup and exact drink fit, rather than a promise of quieter audio or fewer on-stream mistakes.
